Hunting
Maintaining a safe and fun environment for everyone is of great importance at the Texana Ranch. Before beginning your hunt you will be required to complete and sign two documents, the "Texas Hunting Packet" and the "Release of Liability". Links to these documents in pdf format can be found on the right side of this page. A valid Texas hunting license is required to hunt any game.
Non-Residents: If you plan on hunting whitetail, the license fee for non-residents is $315. If you're interested in hunting exotics then a 5-day non-resident license can be purchased for $48.
Fees & Deposits
Deposit $200.00
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot for recreational use or to book a hunt.
Reservations can be made over the phone or by email and will be confirmed once the deposit is received.
Lodge Fee - Recreational Use $200.00
Per night for the first two guests. Additional guests - $25 per person.
Lodge Fee - Hunting Use Discount $150.00
Per night for the first two guests. Additional guests - $25 per person.
This discount applys if you are hunting with us.
Daily Guide Fee $125.00
This includes field dressing, skinning, and quartering of your game and/or transport to a local taxidermist-meat processor of your choice.
Maximum # of hunters per quide depends on the situation and type of hunt.
