Feral Hogs

The Texana does not have a large population of hogs to sustain a specific hunt for feral hogs however we do offer hunters the opportunity to shoot one during a hunt for other species. In 2010 we killed approximately 40 hogs, two of which were very good trophy boars. Several were also taken between 150 and 200 lbs. Our game cameras indicate there are still some large hogs on the property but they are primarily nocturnal and are very difficult to see during daylight hours.
